"Coverted" Fermenter - I've seen the light!

I've got to confess that I am a converted fermenter. After lots of research and more experimenting, I have resolved to use an old freezer with the EXCELLENT Ranco thermostat suggested by Don. I could not get enough temperature differential drop out of the peltier even with fan-forcing. When I got to use parallel peltier devices it got expensive. I got a call from Maryann suggesting that I look on Baumgart on my way home. Cut a long story short for $20 I got a nice chest freezer which I can use for fermenting, lagering or serving + $50 for the Ranco - with superb control there is no real way to beat it.
Set it and Forget it!!!

You run into another of those great deals let me know. I'm in the market for another chest freezer.

Keep a lookout on Craigslist. I recently got a huge 20 cf chest freezer (way more capacity) for $100. I could probably gotten it cheaper, but I had them deliver it.
